The Lehigh Concert Band has started rehearsals for the 2015-2016 season and is ready for another fantastic set of concerts to entertain our audiences. In November the band performed for the Lehigh Fall Festival, and our regular concert performance at Faith Lutheran church in Lehigh Acres. December will be our annualĀ  Christmas concert also featuring the Lehigh Children’s Choir, as well as small groups playing at the Lehigh Senior’s Center and Fountaincrest Retirement Residence . January will be our salute to Broadway with music from Lion King, The Sound of Music, The Phantom of the Opera, and other selections. February the band will play a wide program of music including music of Ray Charles, Jamaica folk music and more. March will be more concerts with the band recording the final concert in March and making a CD. The Lehigh Concert Band is looking forward to starting its 37th season with great programming of some new music including music of the Jersey Boys, River Dance, Ray Charles, John Williams Midway march, the Blues Brothers, some Dixie, some swing, some Sousa marches and music to entertain all.

The band is always looking for enthusiastic musicians of all ages who enjoy getting together to create a combined sound that is music to our audience’s ears. Next season we will be focusing on have more fun with our audiences and try and create a strong group of regular concert goers that support local music in our area.
